InPress Enroute
Mit Enroute können beliebige Stellen in ihrem Workflow überwacht werden. Dateien und Ordner die diese überwachten Ort durchlaufen, können z.b. mit Metadaten befüllt werden, Formulare und Reports werden generiert und vieles mehr.
EnRoute is a serverside solution that watches folder structures and run custom queries in the Venture database based on Schedules or Intervals. Located assets can be routed or passed to custom programs. EnRoute writes reports, notifies and updated the Venture database.
EnRoute scans and queries
EnRoute scans directories and directory structures for files or folders using the filesystem or the database. The abilities for checking for growing files, file locking and file stability in the Venture database makes EnRoute the ideal solution to handle incoming files through hot folders and uploads. Scanning for assets using Venture can be done by applying custom queries making it possible to select exactly the assets specified
EnRoute routes files based on database or upload information
EnRoute can read Venture database fields and Xinet upload reports and use the collected data to route the scanned files to the appropriate location. In addition to routing files, custom script and programs can be called on the assets found.
EnRoute reports, notifies and updates database
All data being collected can be sent in notification emails as well as written to custom reports for use in other systems or databases. Venture data can be applied to files before and after being routed.
Use the configurable uploadform
As a companion to EnRoute, a customizable WebNative upload style is shipped. It can be configured to include additional fields for collecting information. The fields can be normal input fields, pulldowns, or pulldowns displaying data from Venture fields or from the filesystem. It is possible, as an example, to create a series of pulldowns that is the equivalent of browsing through a folder structure.
